IPADE Business School was recognized by the Financial Times as one of the 100 best business schools in the world, ranking #84 on the FT Global MBA Ranking 2021. The only Latin American institution included on the list, the IPADE MBA program was ranked #2 in the category “International Course Experience” and #10 in the category “Career Progress.”
What is the long-term impact of an MBA? Using this question as a starting point, the business education team of the Financial Times worked to evaluate the long-term impact of the MBA experience by looking at participants’ career progress three years after graduation, aims achieved, and their satisfaction with the program and their network.
Graduates that started their own companies were also included in the analysis.
The ranking evaluated global MBA programs based on indicators such as career progress, salary today, value for money, employment data, gender diversity (students, faculty, and board), international course experience, faculty with doctorates, and the FT research rank.
The FT analysis also highlighted some interesting data points. Finance/banking tops the list of career focuses for MBA graduates, followed by Consulting.
Graduates reported that the opportunity to expand their network was one of the main reasons that they decided to invest two years in an MBA program, noting that their alumni network is highly valuable to them.
