On December 4th, 2019, IPADE concluded the first Digital Transformation Journey program. Using a blended learning approach, this program combined in-person and online elements to offer senior managers an enriching, flexible, and impactful experience to help them address the challenges of an ever-changing business landscape.
Following the conclusion of the online portion of the program, participants joined an academic study trip to San Francisco, California. This study trip offered participants the opportunity to further explore the theoretical concepts that were presented during the online portion of the program in a practical setting, as well as to establish an appropriate digital transformation strategy for their own companies.
In his remarks during the closing session of the program, Professor Rafael Ramírez de Alba presented an overview of all the skills acquired during the course of the program. “We can have a clear understanding of many things, but the most important thing is to understand the why, focusing on the customer and their changing needs,” noted Professor Ramírez de Alba. As part of the closing session, the 27 participants received a certificate of completion from the certificate committee.
The objectives of the Digital Transformation Journey program included the following:
- Better understand the digital transformation process and develop an action plan to implement this process in each of the participants’ own companies.
- Increase the likelihood of success of the digital transformation process thanks to guidance from experts during the development of each participants’ digital transformation strategy.
- Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to face the challenges of the digital transformation process.
