On Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13, members of the IPADE Full-Time MBA Class of 2018 celebrated the close of a formative chapter in their lives and the start of a new one as they leave behind their lives as students and join the business world as newly minted graduates. More than 300 friends and family members attended the ceremonies in Mexico City and Monterrey to cheer for their loved ones on this special occasion.
“Today is a happy day for IPADE because we celebrate the graduation of a group of extremely talented individuals that were willing to prepare themselves to take on the extremely exciting yet challenging world that we live in,” said IPADE Dean Rafael Gómez Nava. “Congratulations, graduates, for successfully completing this extremely impactful period of your lives.”
In total, 127 participants graduated as members of the 47th Full-Time MBA Program: 77 in Mexico City and 50 in Monterrey. The class included graduates from Canada, Germany, India, Mexico, Peru, South Korea, Spain, the United States, and Uruguay.
“As graduates of IPADE, you’re now more capable, more knowledgeable about the business world, and more committed to society and to Mexico,” said Ernesto Bolio Barajas, Director of the Full-Time MBA Program. “Today, our graduates go out into the world with a global vision, social commitment, and Christian values that are capable of transforming the business world and society at large, upholding the Mission of IPADE.”
Twelve members of the IPADE faculty attended the ceremony in Mexico City, including Academic Executive Council members Juan Romero McCarthy (Director of Research and Academic Processes), Mr. Bolio Barajas, Dean Gómez Nava, Rafael Ramírez de Alba López (Director of the Executive MBA Program), and Enrique Taracena Figueroa (Professor of General Management).
