For the second year in a row, IPADE was included in the Top MBAs for Entrepreneurship rankings published by the Financial Times earlier this week.
In the 2017 rankings, IPADE was ranked number 31, and was considered the best full-time MBA program in Latin America. The ranking is based on information gathered during the FT’s 2017 Global MBA Ranking, and features the top 50 MBAs for entrepreneurship, an increase from the 25 programs ranked in 2016.
The ranking uses data gathered from MBA graduates of the class of 2013 and is based on 12 different criteria, including the percentage of MBA graduates that started a company, the percentage of companies still operating at the end of 2016, and how the skills gained during the course of the MBA program encouraged the respondents to start a company, among others. At IPADE, 43% of the graduates of the class of 2013 started their own businesses. 23% of these founders were women, and 96% of the businesses were headquartered in Mexico.
2017 marks the second consecutive year that IPADE was included in the FT’s Top MBAs for Entrepreneurship Ranking, as well as in the publication’s Global MBA Ranking.
