On March 14, more than 90 companies from across various industries came together for the 2018 Business Forum at IPADE’s campus in Mexico City to connect with IPADE MBA participants in search of summer or full-time positions.
Organized by the Career Services Office (CEDIC) and the Full-Time MBA Program, this annual event serves as an opportunity for MBA participants to interact with leading companies and for these companies to connect with emerging talent. Industries represented at the event included consulting, banking, energy, retail, consumer products, technology, and food and beverage.
Fermina Gutiérrez Zamora, Director of the CEDIC at IPADE’s Mexico City campus, welcomed attendees to the event.
“This is a great opportunity for you to get to know the current participants of the Full-time MBA program,” she said. “The CEDIC makes a big effort to follow-up with each participant in order to ensure that they are as prepared as possible to join your teams and contribute to your organizations.”
Daniel Berdegue De Cima an IPADE MBA participant from the Class of 2019, said, “The MBA at IPADE has opened many doors for me to connect with industries that I hadn’t ever had contact with. Events like these help us network with people from other industries and provide us with new perspectives on how businesses function across different industries. It’s really wonderful.”
The 2018 Business Forum was held as part of the 2018 International Week, an annual event during which a group of business students enrolled in elite MBA programs from around the world gather at IPADE to share experiences and knowledge, enrich management practices, and explore doing business in Mexico.
