On March 8th, IPADE hosted the 2017 Business Forum at its Mexico City Campus. The Business Forum, organized by the Career Services Office (CEDIC) and the Full-time MBA Program, provides MBA students an opportunity to interact with the companies that interest them, facilitating excellent networking opportunities and allowing both company and student to explore professional possibilities.
This year, more than 180 MBA participants and over 80 companies from diverse sectors (consulting, finance, logistics, pharma, retail, entertainment and technology) participated in the event, including Accenture, Bancomer, Banorte, Bosch, Cinépolis, Deloitte, Emerson, EY, FEMSA, Gentera, Maersk, Microsoft, Nestlé, Novartis, PwC, Samsung, Walmart, among others.
The Career Forum is one of many activities sponsored by the Career Services Office. For more information on how the Office supports IPADE students and companies, click here.
“The Career Forum helped me connect the dots between what I learned during the first year of my MBA and its practical application. Today I feel like I can truly add value to a company, and this event serves as a launching pad for me to find opportunities and companies that I hadn’t considered before, but that could be a great fit.”

“We look for strategic leaders that have a well-developed international approach, all characteristics that we find in IPADE students. We also place high priority on analytical skills and long-term vision, as our programs move very quickly and require participants to learn on the fly, quickly learning new concepts and adapting to international work environments.”
Claudia Rojas
HR Business Partner, The Maersk Group
“The Career Forum is a great opportunity to interact personally with big, international companies from a variety of sectors. The event gives you an idea of the skills that you need to be competitive, not just with other IPADE students, but with students from other MBA programs as well.”
Iramar Yeo
Full-time MBA student, Class of 2018
“Our company is diverse, and IPADE helps facilitate our recruiting process by having students from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, IPADE imparts upon its students a certain professional clarity that is very powerful. The networking opportunities that students have during their time at IPADE closely mirror the real world, and are applicable to our company.”
