For the third year, IPADE Full-time MBA participants took part in the BBVA Challenge, a case competition organized in partnership with BBVA Bancomer, the largest financial institution in Mexico. On February 11-12, 100 participants at IPADE’s Mexico City and Monterrey campuses simultaneously worked in teams to develop the best solution to the provided case study. Each team then presented their conclusions and proposed solutions to a jury of IPADE professors and executives from various areas of BBVA Bancomer. “It was great to receive guidance and feedback from the BBVA executives during the challenge,” said Rafael Acuña, one of the members of the winning team from the Mexico City campus. “This Challenge is a great opportunity to engage with top companies like BBVA, deepen professional relationships, and lay the groundwork for future professional opportunities. I’d like to thank IPADE and BBVA for this great opportunity.” Participants’ assessment of the business case presented as part of the BBVA Challenge was judged based on various different criteria, including effectively identifying the facts, creative thinking, teamwork, team member participation, etc. Participants received support and advice from members of the jury during the different phases of the competition. This event offers BBVA Bancomer the opportunity to attract top talent from IPADE’s Full-time MBA program, whether for summer internship opportunities or full-time positions. Winners from the Mexico City campus: Paola López, Lavina Villa, Rafael Acuña, Rodolfo Jiménez, and Daniel Montiel Winners from the Monterrey campus: Omar Resendiz, Héctor Pérez, Martha Celia Reyes, José María Perera, and Guillermo Pérez
