On November 9th, IPADE hosted the first annual meeting of the Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Finanzas (IMEF) Nueva Generación. A total of 80 business leaders were invited to participate in the event, and discussions covered various pressing topics, including the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Nuevo Leon’s role as a global strategic partner. Participants were pleased to welcome the contributions of Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo, who participated in the meeting and discussions.
The event was hosted at the IPADE campus in Monterrey. Lorenzo Fernández, Director of the Monterrey Campus, used his opening remarks to welcome participants and highlight the importance of these types of activities for IPADE.
“IPADE has sought to create spaces for dialog and reflection regarding the pressing topics that face both the business world and society in general. Our participation in this event, organized by IMEF Nueva Generación, adds significant value to the IPADE community.”
In his remarks, Minister Guajardo thanked the assembled business leaders for the invitation.
“For those of us here today that aren’t members of the IPADE community, I’d like to mention that it’s never too late to become part of this institution,” he said. “In Mexico City, we’ve established an excellent dialog with IPADE, which is a very innovative organization.”
IPADE is dedicated to strengthening the Mexican business community and building the foundation necessary to begin a dialog across Mexico’s diverse economic sectors in order to establish a vibrant and dynamic business environment.
