On March 1-3, IPADE held the 2017 International Days at its campus in Mexico City, this year the event was hosted in partnership with Columbia Graduate School of Business with the topic Business in a Digital Age: Strategy, Marketing and Operations. The International Days provided current IPADE Top Management Programs students from across the various campuses with the opportunity to participate in a series of lectures provided by visiting professors from Columbia GSB. Additionally, students were able to get to know their classmates from other campuses while enjoying three days of learning and networking.
“We’d like to extend a warm welcome to the IPADE community from all our campuses (Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Panama, etc.),” said IPADE Professor Julián Sánchez García. “We’re sure that the sessions over the next two days will be truly fruitful…and we’re pleased to provide you with an opportunity to get to know the Mexico City campus and engage and interact with students from schools all over the world, as well as with students from other IPADE campuses.”
The invited professors from Columbia GSB were Professor Medini Singh, Senior Lecturer in Discipline in Business in the Decision, Risk, and Operations Division; Professor David Rogers, faculty director of Executive Education programs on Digital Marketing and Digital Business Strategy; Professor Omar Besbes, Philip H. Geier Jr. Associate Professor of Business in the Decision, Risk, and Operations Division; and Professor Nelson Fraiman, Professor of Professional Practice in the Decision, Risk, and Operations Division.
Lecture topics included “Operational excellence,” “Supply Chain Management: Aligning Strategy with Operations,” “Analytics for Competitive Advantage,” and “Digital Business Strategy.”
