On February 27, IPADE hosted the fourth edition of the IPADE-BBVA Challenge. Sponsored by BBVA, the case competition offers companies the opportunity to engage with Full-Time MBA (MEDE) participants and facilitates contact with top candidates from the current MEDE class.
At the beginning of the event, the 69 participants from both the Mexico City and the Monterrey campuses were divided into small teams. Each team was responsible for analyzing a case and then presenting their findings and final proposal to the participating jury.
The jury for the 2021 edition of the case competition included executives from BBVA areas and IPADE faculty, including Eduardo Osuna, Vice President and CEO of BBVA Mexico; Ana Gabriela Rodríguez, Talent Director of BBVA; Ernesto Bolio Barajas, Corporate Director of the Full-Time MBA; Gabriela Ávalos Gibert, Director of the Career Services Office; Antonio Sancho y Maldonado, Academic Director of the Full Time MBA; and Pablo Buitrón Morales, Deputy Director of the Career Services Office.
After thoughtful deliberation from the jury, the finalists were finally announced: José Miguel Chávez Mees, Óscar Alejandro Waldo Aguilar, Pilar Segura Capetillo, Adrián Marcelo Elosua Rodríguez, Jaime Humberto González Guerra, and Luis Raúl Arras Espinosa took home the top prize at the 2021 IPADE-BBVA Challenge.
IPADE would like to congratulate the winners and thank BBVA for its continued commitment to cultivating and recruiting IPADE talent.
