Each year, the Full-Time MBA Career Service Office (CEDIC) organizes the Business Forum, an opportunity for IPADE participants and companies from leading sectors to engage with and learn more about each other. This event is part of the CEDIC’s activities to connect IPADE MBA students with companies searching for high potential business leaders.
The 2019 Business Forum took place from March 13-28 at IPADE’s campuses in Mexico City and Monterrey. The event served as an opportunity for companies to recruit IPADE talent for summer internships and/or full-time positions, with more than 90 companies participated from a diverse range of sectors, including financial services, consulting, retail, construction, pharmaceutical, logistics, and consumer products, among others.
Raquel Sánchez, Talent Acquisition Executive at Coca-Cola Femsa, shared some insight on the ideal profile for Coca-Cola. “We’re looking for people that we can trust, that are interested in what we’re doing, and that are able to work in an uncertain environment while still staying focused on results, said Ms. Sánchez. “One of the values that we believe IPADE graduates bring to the table is a passion for learning. They’re constantly looking for new ways to solve problems.”
Henrick Farías, member of the Class of 2020, added, “The skills that we develop as part of the IPADE Full-Time MBA program – team work, strategic thinking, and a humanist approach – can have a major impact at companies like these.”
The 2019 Business Forum provided participants with an opportunity to engage with a range of different companies while also providing these companies with a chance to identify talent and get to know IPADE’s MBA graduates and participants.
