Forbes Mexico ranked IPADE Business School as the #1 MBA program in Latin America in the publication’s first annual Best Business Schools-Latin America ranking. Chile’s Universidad Católica and the University of São Paulo rounded out positions two and three, respectively.
The ranking primarily focused on the input and opinions of top companies and headhunters from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Peru that are constantly on the look out for executive talent. 77.5% of headhunters ranked IPADE as the best source of executive talent in the region.
The ranking also considered the academic profile of each program, highlighting IPADE’s cutting edge programs and IPADE faculty’s deep experience and ongoing interaction with the business world, two aspects that make IPADE the best place to pursue an MBA in Latin America.
95 responses from top companies and headhunters were used to create the ranking. A 100-point index was then created and divided into three sections: Academics (30 points), Presence & Influence (40 points), and Image & Reputation (30 points).
In the accompanying article, Forbes Mexico highlighted the rapidly changing business environment in Latin America, as well as the importance of building international teams in today’s modern business world, noting that companies these days seek candidates with high-level leadership skills that also speak another language, are familiar with technology, and have an understanding of different points of view.
