For IPADE, family is the most important business in people´s lives. Thus, IPADE´s Full-time MBA at Monterrey campus organized the Family Day event last February 19th 2016.
The purpose of the Family Day, attended by 121 people, was to thank all the MBA participants´ parents for the support and trust vested in IPADE.
The Full-time MBA participants of the class of 2014-2016, were given the opportunity to share, together with their parents (some of them graduates of one IPADE Program), the experience of taking various sessions of the Master, as well as knowing the mission and history of the Monterrey campus.
To open the event, Lorenzo Fernández Alonso, Monterrey campus Director, expressed his gratitude to all attendees by saying some welcoming words. Afterwards, he described how the campus was founded and explained what each Program offers in such city nowadays.
Furthermore, Ernesto Bolio Barajas, Corporate Director of the Full-time MBA Program, Ricardo Murcio Rodríguez, Director of the Full-time MBA Program in Monterrey and Ramón Ibarra Ramos, Director of the Full-time MBA Program Preceptorship also in that city, recalled some experiences from the times when they were professors of the alumni, which happened to be very enriching for the current participants. Sessions delved into business management, family as a heroes´ incubator as well as into managerial skills.
By the end of the event, a very emotional cocktail took place, which fostered the networking interaction among participants, just as a chance to share some feedback about their experience in the Master.
Events such as the Family Day encourage the comprehensive education of IPADE´s participants and this is how society and institutions strengthen.
